Requirement: To investigate whether and how hostile state actors were exploiting COVID-19 and related disinformation to undermine U.S. foreign policy interests in the Sahel. 

Solution:  We engaged with grass root actors, traditional tribal chiefs, village elders, and senior political figures across the region, leveraging high-level contacts in civil society groups, relevant ministries, embassies, and regional bodies. This provided us with valuable insights into local disinformation dynamics and helped shape the effective delivery of the program.
